KCCA FC and URA FC joined SC Villa and BUL FC in the semifinals of the FUFA Super Eight tournament after winning their respective quarterfinal games against Wakiso Giants and Bright Stars on Friday, August 11.
KCCA defeated Wakiso Giants 2-0, thanks to goals by Abubaker Mayanja in the second half of the game played at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
At the Mehta stadium in Lugazi, hosts URA FC edged visiting Bright Stars 2-1 to storm the semis.
The winner of the pre-season final warm up tournament will pocket Shs 20 million while the runners-up walk away with Shs 12 million.
