Uganda She-Cranes v New Zealand
Uganda’s national netball team, the She-Cranes, defeated Singapore 97- 37 on Friday, July 28 for a perfect start to their campaign at the World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa.
It was all-smooth sailing for the She-Cranes, who dominated the game, leading their opponents 22-09, 42-18, 62-29 in the first, second and third quarters respectively.
The She-Cranes return to action on Saturday, July 29 when they take on New Zealand, the defending champions.
Uganda’s She-Cranes are appearing at the global event for fourth time, having featured in the 1979, 2015 and 2019 editions.
