It was pomp and glamour as KCCA FC unveiled their new manager, Sergio Traguil, on Thursday, June 29 at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.
“I am the kind of person that is very focused on my work; I will give all of me and passion to the club to achieve what the fans, the board and technical team expect,” the Portuguese tactician stated after being unveiled to the club officials.
Traguil, who arrived in the country on June 27, will address his first media conference on Friday, June 30.
He officially starts work on Saturday, July 1.

The Portuguese arrived with his backroom staff, including Luis Manuel Correira, the assistant and Cuban Eduardo Lazaro Raman Leiva, the strength and conditioning coach.
Correira and Leiva were part of Traguil’s technical staff at Township Rollers FC in the Botswana topflight league.
The pair will be assisted by former SC Villa tactician Jackson Magera who was appointed KCCA’s first-team coach last week.
Traguil takes over from Jackson Mayanja who was appointed in interim capacity when former coach Morley Byekwaso resigned in April this year. Mayanja led KCCA to the runners-up spot in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
