Smarting from a 0-2 loss to URA FC on Saturday, April 1, Bright Stars FC travel to the at the Muteesa II stadium, Wankulukuku for Tuesday (April 4)’s scheduled game against the StarTimes Uganda Premier League table leaders, SC Villa.

In recent weeks, SC Villa have revived their title hopes with back-to-back victories over Onduparaka, Express FC, BUL and Busoga United.

The Jogoos now lead the 15-team league table with 37 points from 19 games followed by KCCA FC on 36 points from 17 matches.

Villa’s last league title was in 2004, but their fortunes this season have dramatically changed in the last two months despite being docked three points and three goals over hooliganism exhibited by the club fans during earlier matches.

They, however, face an unpredictable Bright Stars’ side. Bright Stars lost 0-2 to URA FC in their last game on Saturday, April 1.

In their first round match, Villa beat Bright Stars 1-0 last November at the Kavumba Recreation grounds. If Villa beat the Stars again on Tuesday, they will open up a four-point lead on top, for at least 24 hours as second-placed KCCA will have a chance to peg them back when they play Blacks Power FC on Wednesday, April 5.

MATCH-DAY 21 FIXTURES:

Tuesday, April 4@4pm:

SC Villa v Bright Stars FC, Muteesa II Stadium-Wankulukuku
