        Uganda is launching a nation-first strategy to turn its coffee and cocoa farms into international tourism attractions starting in 2027. By inviting global travelers to taste products directly at the farm gate, officials hope to bypass foreign branding traps, diversify the country’s gorilla-heavy tourism portfolio, and place supplementary income straight into the hands of rural smallholders.
